Drop back dress

Like you already noticed, I received a peach drop back dress (and an identical black one on its way), also drop back skirt which I have yet to show, but my new obsession isn't over, haha! I also ordered this dress from Romwe  some time ago and can't wait to receive it. Contrary to my peach one, this is more for casual and daily use, I guess. I love the simplicity and the tiger/leopard faces on the neck. But there is one huge BUT. I can't think of what shoes to wear with these kind of dresses/skirts (unless it's very formal like for my bal du bac with the peach dress). I mean, it doesn't look that good with flats, I tried with my black skirt, the effect is just not *there*. And most heels make these kind of dresses/skirts look too outgoing/party, so I'm really stuck, need to find the perfect shoes for this :D If you have any tips, it would be well appreciated!

  1. Why not try wearing wedges with them? They're not as dressy as the usual heels, yet are high enough to look good with the mullet cut. I recently wore an animal print one from Promod with wooden wedges, and they look quite good! :)

  2. I would probably wear sandels or summerboots to make the dress look more gypsy-like:)

In this pic are 3 celebs with drop back skirts... and the first one looks rather casual.I think the shoes are not sth you'd wear :D But there are casual looking heels out there! It's possible :P
Also I like the wedges idea some already made :)

  8. I think it looks great with boots. For example, black tough boots, but still elegant? Saw this on several blogs and it looks stunning!
