Today's outfit details

Hey guys! Today I wanted to simply show you some parts of my outfit, because generally it wasn't really that interesting (it was my day off anyway, and I still had to go to the library - I feel proud for even showering, haha). It really is finally warm now and I'm enjoying the weather every day. Unfortunately, though, I'm having somewhat of a wardrobe crisis. My most loyal readers know that I have way more clothes than you, your best friend and your mum combined, but it just doesn't feel right. Everything in my wardrobe feels boring, old or unpractical for everyday wear and I feel very uninspired. Student life, however, does not allow a lot of shopping which is why I haven't been buying new clothes for a long, long time. Another factor is that because I live on campus, everything is quite close so I feel very lazy and unimaginative when it comes to my outfits, meaning I only use like 10% of my clothes/shoes, which is why you often see me wear the same things (such as this jacket and jeans). It's actually not only about clothing, I've been feeling quite lost in myself too, you could say I'm at the stage in life where I'm trying to figure out who I am, why I do the things I do, and so on. Anyway, I am set to overcome this period, I just don't know how, yet. If you have any advice or tips for what you would do in this situation, please do share! Lots of love ♥

  2. Since you are in England you've improved your style and all your posts are always amazing: Well written text, gorgeous outfits... So you are doing it right, don't worry about your clothes or your life, I really don't think that your outfits are boring. I have been following you for 2 years and I've seen many of your clothes, I'm sure that you can find new combinations without the need of buying new clothes :) and about your like, who are you or why do you do what you doing, I have no answer, but I see that you are managing every thing very well and I think that it's really important and event if for many people its really hard, you are doing it in the right way ;) I hope for you to pass this period and be self confident again :p

  6. Hello Kristiana!

We all go through style changes. For me it happened last year, i found out that my clothes were not any more reflecting my style, yet my student money would not allow me to have a complete change of wardrobe!

What I suggest you to do is 1. focus on accessories. They are innexpensive and can really make the most boring outfit interesting + show off your new style.
    2. buy slow. For example this year I am very into shirts. It would be impossible for me to buy 10 shirts in one shopping trip. Instead i buy one every month lets say and
3.Wait for the sales! or shop on ebay. There i could buy a lot of key items that i love and wear very often.

So if you combine your new jewllery + some newly bought key items you can instnatly feel better :)

    hope these helped..!

  7. Saprotu, ko tu domā, man arī apmēram pirms gada bija tādas pašas izjūtas (iespējams, tapēc ka uzsāku studijas & dzīve izmainījās) Bet par laimi viss atgriezās vecajās sliedēs & tā kā strādāju apģērba veikalā, man par modi un stilu sanāk visu laiku domāt, līdz ar to arī gūt iedvesmu!

  12. Im interpreting your laziness and imaginativeness as the feeling of not having anything to dress up for since your days are short, everything is so close, you're only going to the library, etc.. How about dressing up for you? For your own sake? Personally i feel happy and good about myself when i know i look good. And experimenting with styles and everything that is in your wardrobe, can be a way of finding yourself too :)

  13. Hi!
I love your blog, I've been reading it all year! I go to Surrey and do Business and Retail Management too, just the year above you. I'm really interested in fashion too and love your style, think I spotted you inthe library this afternoon haha! Don't worry about not knowing what to do at the moment, I didn't have a clue and still don't but you will love next years modules so just stick with it. If you ever want to grab a Starbucks on campus let me know!
