Business cards

Yesterday I finally received my business cards which I ordered while in Tenerife. I did pay 11£ extra for express shipping, but they came 5 days before the date that they were meant to arrive! What I learnt while living in the UK is that blogging is sometimes more than a hobby, it pretty much always starts as a hobby but at some point you begin feeling more serious about it, and want to take it further. When I started being invited to blogger events, I realized that business cards are a must. How will the people remember you after you leave the party, when they have already met like 100 new faces that night? You can make a lot of great connections at these events with other bloggers, photographers or PR people. Moreover, it was quite frustrating having to type my blog address into other people's phones every time I met someone new, it's just way simpler giving them your business card, so they can check it all out later.

I kind of ordered these cards in a rush, and thankfully my friend Kristaps helped me with the design and how it would be laid out. We decided to put my photo and all the information on the front and a QR code, for people to scan with their smartphones, at the back. For now they are very simple, since I'm not very experienced at this, but I'm sure that as the time will go by, I'll update and pimp them up a bit in some way!

For 100 cards + express shipping I paid around 33£, and I got them from www.moo.com

  5. So much money for this cheap shit. I`m sorry but this cards they make on digital printer and it costs only aroud 6£. Best way to make business cards is SCREEN PRINTING because you can really feel texture of every letter and graphic. But this... Sorry you could get someting better and the same for design.

  6. I guess business cards are a more professional way to make connections as a fashion blogger. I'm new so I'm hoping one day, when i'm older and my blog has grown I'll be able to do the same :)
