Latvia fashion blog Luxembourg blogger UK fashion blogger ZARA necklace Milan outfit fashion blog Kristiana Vasarina Luxembourg fashion blog Zara sandal heels G'morning everyone. Here, finally, is my last outfit post from Milan - exactly one week ago today. The above photos were taken by my little brother (who wanted to be on the blog too, hence the last photo) at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, which was absolutely stunning on the inside. We took my outfit photos there and then way too many tourist photos too.

I feel like we can all make two conclusions based on the above photos. First, my love for ZARA is getting out of control and second, well, I guess we can all see which I think is my good side. My "good side" usually depends on the parting of my hair. Speaking of hair, I've been thinking about going for the chop for as long as I can remember...

Again, this was one of those days where most other people stared at my bare legs in the streets, but this time it was around 20 degrees out and very warm! In my opinion, 20 degrees sets the bar for bare legs (although we all do it at 15 degrees, let's be honest). I was very happy to enjoy the sun and warmth for one day, haha.

I decided to go for a more classy look but I didn't want it to look too serious so I wore my printed ZARA shorts, which are an absolute dream! The material is so nice and I love the way you can tie them, making them more structured. I also wore my new lovely T-shirt from In Love With Fashion, which is very classy with its pleat back. You will definitely be seeing more detailed photos of this in the near future!

I will now finish my freshly pressed orange juice and croissants, get ready and drive to the cinema with my brother. Have a great Sunday, everyone! ♥

Not sure if you remember my sneaker fever post, but my new obsession definitely did not stop there! Lately I've acquired 3 new pairs and I couldn't wait to share them with you! Currently all these pairs seem to be sold out everywhere online, but you can find an amazing and vast selection of similar pairs at Office here.

The first pair is Nike Air Max 1,  which you already saw briefly in my last post. They are ridiculously comfortable and for someone like me, who does not like flat shoes at all costs (back problems, foot pain etc), these are perfect because they definitely have a good sole.

The second pair is the Nike Roshe Run Pink Force Sail, which I bought off a lovely girl on Depop - my first buy! I love browsing through Depop, even if I don't always intend to buy stuff. The shoes arrived in perfect condition as described and are absolutely lovely and so light! I haven't worn them out just yet, though.

The final pair is Nike Air Max Thea Black Wolf Grey White which I actually tried to find for ages, but they were sold out everywhere online and in all physical stores that I visited too. I finally got lucky on Easter day in Milan when I walked into a Nike store, which was miraculously open that day. I already wore this pair loads and it really goes well with my all-black looks. I still do miss my pink Nike Thea's (they shrunk to smaller size in the wash so I sold them), but these black ones have finally filled that gap!

Which pair do you like best? Expect to see outfit posts soon! ♥

Apologies for the poor update but I am currently in the UK for a few days and they are busybusybusy! You can follow my Instagram for more frequent updates in the meantime. Above is a photo from Genoa in Italy, where we visited the Neptune, a pirate ship. You can get my sunglasses here and the Nike Air Max's (which are on sale!) here or here.

Luxembourg Fashion Blogger ASOS Sunglasses UK Fashion Blogger Fashion Blogger Outfit Kristiana Vasarina H&M Heels
My first days in Milan have been quite fun, with pizzas every day! Today I only joined the family for a couple of hours and later got dropped off at the hotel as I need to prepare for some things in the UK next week. It's going to be a very full and stressful week, so planning is essential. After some trouble with ordering food from Italian places that didn't understand English, I finally managed to get some good stuff delivered to the hotel room.

I wore the above outfit on my first day in Milan and everyone seemed to be staring at my bare legs. During the summer the city gets really hot so it's no wonder when they think that 17 degrees Celsius feels like winter and then they wear coats and boots. Living in the UK, I have learned to appreciate 17 degrees as it may be the warmest day that week or month, haha.

I got this baggy sweater dress in ZARA a couple of days ago, thinking it would be perfect for those in-between days as it still keeps me relatively warm. It really is quite baggy and the shape isn't the most flattering of all, so I wore it with heels in an effort to look more put together.

Luxembourg Fashion Blogger Luxembourg Fashion Blogger Michael Kors Striped Wallet Kristiana Vasarina Zara Sandal Heels Zara Midi Skirt

Long time, no see! I'm writing from my hotel room in Milan, and, honestly, the last few days have been quite hectic. As soon as I will come back from Milan, I have less than 12 hours at home until I need to go on an express visit to the UK. Will tell you about that later - maybe. I don't want to ruin my luck, just in case!

I wore this outfit on the first day back in Luxembourg this Easter holiday when I had an interview with a journalist from a Luxembourg publication called Wort. I never got the chance to take photos of this outfit, so I wore it again (how un-blogger of me) when I met Tina last week! This outfit is part of my "I need a new look" issue - as I said, I wear it all the time, only swapping the skirt and the heels! I picked up this amazing ZARA Printed Skirt in the Gatwick airport last time I was flying. I've become slightly obsessed with ZARA lately, to be honest. They have really stepped up their game.

PS. If you have some suggestions for shopping/eating/sightseeing in Milan, do let me know!

Yesterday I talked about my recent love for midi skirts and today I thought I would share another obsession that I have developed recently and it is Spring/Summer coats. It's all about the lightweight material and the bright (or pastel) colors. It seems to me that ZARA has nailed it! I absolutely love their coats right now - the dark blue one I saw in Gatwick Airport, and the texture is absolutely wonderful. The choice is not as good in the Luxembourgish ZARA, so I have only seen the yellow, black and white and green coat so far, but the rest are available on the website. Prices range from 90 to 130 EUR. I really need to get my hands on one of these, I just don't know which one yet. Have you got a favorite?

Luxembourg fashion blogger Full midi skirt Kristiana Vasarina Pleated midi skirt
Photos by Christine Xuan from Karinablog

Strangely enough I've been wearing the same outfit for the past few days. Well, almost. The only thing that changes is the skirt and the heels. Other than that, I've grown VERY comfortable to this faux leather jacket, V-back t-shirt and statement necklace from Zara, and, of course, my favorite La Moda bag. I really need to get a new look, haha. I wore the above outfit for the Luxembourgish blogger brunch on Saturday morning. On Thursday I also wore the same look, but with a different midi skirt and black sandal heels (outfit post coming soon), and, finally - last night I wore this look with my Monki asymmetric skirt (same skirt as here) and my black sandal heels.

Somehow I have been massively obsessed with midi skirts this last month (and maybe a tad bit last year too, with my AX Paris Aztec midi and Motel Rocks pleated midi). There is just something so comforting about wearing a skirt that does not reveal too much and still looks very feminine. If you check out my wish-list on my Boutique tab, my midi skirt obsession will become even more obvious.

Regarding my hair, I basically got tired of growing out of my roots so in the spur of the moment I colored all of my hair in a more even color. Apparently it looks very natural and nobody seems to notice the change? Haha. Did you notice it in these photos or my previous post, before reading this bit?

PS. I would be so grateful if you nominated me as Best Personal Style Blog in the Company Style Blogger Awards. Kaori and Tina ( would also love if you nominated them as Best Blogging Duo or Best International Blog ♥

As promised, here is a review of my amazing new Ray Ban Cats 1000 in Gloss Black, which I got from Sunglasses Shop. I have wanted these sunglasses for years and those who have been following this blog for a long time have probably seen all the wish-list posts and so on. I think the reason I didn't actually get them was that I couldn't really find this particular model in most shops. I love the aviators too, but cat eyed shapes have always been close to the heart. The sunglasses came in a black Ray Ban sunglasses case, as seen in my recent What's in my bag post. As you would expect from Ray Ban, the sunglasses feel very sturdy and the glass feels like very great quality. Unlike my previous Ray Ban Aviators, these don't give me headaches or a mark on my nose (no matter how many times I got them fixed, the problems remained). Overall, I'm incredibly happy with these sunglasses and will be definitely taking them to Milan with me next week. ♥

PS. Only one day left to take part of my Ray Ban giveaway - you can win any sunglasses of your choice! Just scroll down :)

Sometime back I posted one of my typical University outfits, which usually consists of skinny jeans, shirt/sweater and a random jacket. This is another outfit I wore on a lazy day to Uni. During the last month I've been living in these amazing ASOS Ankle Grazer Jeans, and I'm definitely planning to buy some more from the ASOS Ridley Skinny Jeans selection (especially the ones with holes on knees!). I don't think I've ever had a pair that I loved this much! Although I did lose some credibility in ASOS when they started selling Sheinside items (we all know how I feel about that...), it still remains my go-to online store, because it offers student friendly prices, huge selection and great discounts! I especially love buying some more expensive items there when they have the 25% student discount code available.

I got this Sugarhill Boutique shirt a couple of months back but somehow never ended up photographing it, even though this was not the first time I wore it out. I absolutely love it and they have lots more quirky pieces available. Speaking of Sugarhill Boutique, the giveaway has finished and the winner will be notified by e-mail very soon :)

PS. If you love my blog, I will be over the moon if you nominated me at the Company Style Blogger Awards as "Best Personal Style Blog"! It only takes 1 minute :) If you have an extra minute to spare, my friends Tina and Kaori would love if you nominated their blog ( as "Best Blogging Duo" and/or "Best International Blog". ♥

What's in my bag Michael Kors wallet Believe it or not, but during these 5 years of blogging I have never done a "What's in my bag" post. I recently got this Michael Kors Striped Saffiano Wallet from Harrods, so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to finally do this. I've been wearing my new La Moda bag constantly during these last few weeks and, surprisingly, quite a lot fits inside it! I usually carry my Filofax organizer everywhere I go, it really keeps me motivated to keep my days structured (especially in writing). When I don't bring my organizer, I tend to keep notes in my phone, but later write them down anyway. Lately I've been using this ASOS Metallic Phone Case, which is in lovely rose gold. I don't really tend to carry around much beauty items to do touch-ups during the day (how can anyone bother, actually?!), but I ALWAYS bring my Carmex, Maybelline Baby Lips lip balm, Bobbi Brown Hot Raspberry Sheer Lip Color and Barry M nude lipstick. When I want to go for a nude look, I use Carmex and Barry M, and when I want my lip to pop a bit, I use the pink lip balm with the pink lipstick :) I recently got this Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille Souffle Body Creme in sample size from my Birchbox, and funnily enough, even though I never liked the smell of Vanilla beauty products, this one is absolutely amazing, so it has become an addition to my daily bag. Finally, as I mentioned in my Ray Ban giveaway, I received these Ray Ban Cats 1000 in Gloss Black from Sunglasses Shop. A review can be expected :-)

Last Thursday I went to town to meet local blogger babes Carmen and Anne (check out their blogs, you won't regret it) and we went to the Fashion Coctail event at the Smets Swimming Pool store. It was a nice evening that consisted of having drinks at Cafe de Paris, then checking out the dreamy (and way too expensive) items that the store had to offer (think Balmain, Kenzo and Saint Laurent), and finishing off with a cheeky visit to Sushi Shop ;-)

I wore my new Wal G dress, which you can also see in my Wal G giveaway in the post just below. It is the perfect light summer dress! That day wasn't too particularly warm so I wore it with my boots and my Ingenue London faux leather long jacket, La Moda bag and Vagabond ankle boots. I've been looking for a replacement for them, but can't seem to find any that I like enough and seem to be good enough quality.

PS. The Poppy Lux giveaway has ended and the winner is Courtney B., who will be contacted very soon. Sugarhill Boutique is ending in two hours so hurry!! :)

Saturday, April 5, 2014

Heyhey! Some things did not go as planned this week with the giveaways - it was a little bit disappointing but out of my control, therefore this might be the last one this week. In any case, I guess there is no rush and you will still be happy if I post some more during the next few weeks, right?

For this giveaway I have teamed up with Wal G, which you can find in Topshop, ASOS, House of Fraser and more. The winner can choose 3 items of their choice, up to the total value of £120. Above are some of my favorites, and you can also see my Instagram photo with my new Wal G dress! I absolutely love it and already wore it a few days back so you might see some photos soon. Giveaway runs until Saturday the 12th. Make sure you join all other giveaways, the Poppy Lux one ends tomorrow, Sugarhill Boutique one ends Monday and Ray Ban ends on Sunday next week. Good luck! ♥
